Mike Coney, Unitrends CEO, has wide-ranging executive software experience and expertise. Moreover, he has a thorough academic resume. Mr. Coney graduated from the Wharton School of Business Executive Leadership Program (University of Pennsylvania). Furthermore, from the New York Institute of Technology, he attained his Bachelor’s degree.
Before coming on board with Unitrends, Mike Coney was President and GM of Acronis Software. At Acronis, he guided corporate strategy for North and South America. Before joining Acronis Software, he held the job of Senior Vice President of the Americas for Veritas. This was up to Veritas’ merger with Symantec.
In addition, Mr. Coney was Executive Vice President of international operations for Ingres Software Corp. Moreover, he has held senior management roles at high growth organizations. These included Monster.com and Sun Microsystems. In general, Unitrends has a strong management team having an abundance of expertise and know-how.
